Pasture Plus 30kg
Pasture-Plus is an extruded mineralised, formulated to meet the mineral needs of the pregnant Broodmare whilst at pasture and ensure correct development of the unborn foal.
It is important that during the last three months of foetal development, that the Broodmare receives sufficient intake of the important trace minerals, copper, zinc, manganese and selenium, to ensure correct skeletal development and joint soundness in the developing foal.
Pasture is usually sufficient to meet the nutritional needs for protein and energy at this time, and the need for supplementary feed is often not required to meet these nutrients. It is unlikely that pasture intake will meet the elevated requirement for trace minerals and supplementation at this time.
Dunstan Pasture-Plus is a palatable, cooked cereal nugget that contains within its formulation the Broodmares requirements for the essential trace elements, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and salt. The growth amino acid lysine is provided to boost pasture quality.
The provision of copper, zinc and selenium in the more available forms as Organic Copper, Organic Zinc and Selenium Yeast, enhances the availability of these essential minerals, at a time when the Broodmares digestive capacity is often compromised.
Dunstan Pasture-Plus is not a complete feed, but a mineralised feed concentrate to be fed in conjunction with pasture. Dunstan Pasture-Plus has been formulated to meet the Broodmares requirement for trace minerals at a daily feeding rate of 250 grams.

A diet formulated for the high nutrient requirements of the Hunter, Endurance Horse and Eventer during periods of intense work and competition.
Dietary energy is a critical component of a balanced diet formulated for horses that have a high performance output over relatively short time periods. The extrusion cooking process applied to cereal grain and proteins considerably enhances the energy values of conventional cereal grains. The addition of vegetable oil as a concentrated source of energy enables a high performance diet to be formulated within a relatively small volume of feed.
Sporthorse Hi Performance is formulated around an extruded cereal pellet, complemented with additional energy ingredients such as full fat soyabean meal, maize, rolled barley and vegetable oils. Trace minerals, vitamins and salt are provided at a level where no further supplementation is required. Lucerne chaff is added to provide additional roughage when complementing pasture only.

Ryegrass staggers is not usually fatal, and affected animals normally recover if taken off the toxic pasture and offered endophyte free feed.
